Now that we find ourselves spending more time at home again and less time out and about cruising the streets, it's time to get baking. With the dirty coffee cream cake you do not need to go to a coffee cafe to experience something this amazing.
Decadence of another level. I had to beg my mother in law for this recipe. The longer the cake stands, the better it becomes. A definite must bake, for anyone who loves a rich and moist cake.
This coffee cream cake is so delicious even the non-coffee lovers out there will enjoy a slice or two.
Dirty Coffee Cream Cake

Rich, moist and decadent. Try this dirty coffee cream cake for an ultimate treat over tea time.
1 tin caramel
250 ml cream
1 packet instant vanilla pudding
1 cup milk
3/4 cup water
3/4 cup sugar
3 tablespoons instant coffee
3 tablespoons brandy
1 teaspoon vanilla essence
Cake:Beat together the eggs, sugar and vanilla until white and fluffy. Add the dry ingredients. Heat the milk and oil together. Add to the mixture and mix gently.Pour into 2 greased round baking tins.Bake in pre heated oven at 180 degrees for 20 minutes.Let it cool on a cooling rack.Filling:In a sauce pan, heat the water, sugar, coffee, brandy and vanilla essence. Pour half over each cake.Spread the caramel evenly over each layer of cake.Mix the cream, instant vanilla pudding and milk to a thick consistancy, spread generously over the caramel. Place the cakes on top of each other. Decorate with the flake.
