President Muhammadu Buhari on Thursday, April 25, departed Nigeria for United Kingdom on a private trip which is expected to last for about 10 days.
This is contained in a statement released on Thursday by the Special adviser to the President on Media and Publicity, Femi Adesina.
The President on Wednesday paid a visit to Lagos where he commissioned a number of projects executed by the State Government.
It was disclosed that the President departed for UK after the official visit to Maiduguri, the Borno State capital where he commissioned developmental projects in the sectors of education, healthcare and roads.
The President is expected to return to Nigeria on May 5, 2019.
