A 37-year-old South African woman, Gosiame Sithole, in a new world record, has reportedly given birth to 10 children.
Gosiame, who is already a mother of twins, had on Monday, gave birth to seven boys and three girls by Caesarean section at a hospital in Pretoria.
The father of the babies, Tebogo Tsotetsi - who is currently unemployed, brief the journalists about the brith of the decuplets late on Monday night, saying he is 'happy' and 'emotional'.
However, the city's mayor said they tried to find out where the family was with no success.
Gosiame claims pregnancy was 'natural' which is rare with extreme multiple births.
This is coming just a month after Halima Cisse gave birth to nine children in Morocco.
