Donald Trump Claims Coronavirus Will Disappear Soon Without The Need Of A Vaccine

United States President, Donald Trump has claimed the novel Coronavirus pandemic is going to end globally without having to use a vaccine.

During his daily briefing at the White House, Trump told the press:

"This is going to go away without a vaccine, it's gonna go away, and we're not going to see it again, hopefully, after a period of time.
"You may have some flare-ups, and I guess I would expect that."

The leading expert on infectious diseases on the US COVID-19 task force, Dr. Anthony Fauci, had repeatedly maintained that a vaccine can't be widely distributed until about 12 or 18 months time. But Trump has insisted the virus could be long gone before then.

"It doesn't mean, frankly, it's going to be gone before the fall or after the fall, but eventually it's going to go away.
The question is whether we will need a vaccine. At some point, it will probably go away by itself." He said

The United States is currently the country most affected by the coronavirus pandemic. The nation currently has over 1.3 million confirmed cases, along with 80,574 deaths recorded.
