Kendall Jenner has credited her mother Kris Jenner for moulding her into such a savvy businesswoman.
The 24-year-old has gone from a young reality star on Keeping Up with the Kardashians to one of the world’s most famous models, and has starred in campaigns for brands including Balmain, Marc Jacobs, Givenchy, Karl Lagerfeld, and Chanel.
In a new Q&A session on YouTube, Kendall opened up about the biggest inspirations in her life – with the 64-year-old family matriarch coming out on top of her list.
“I have learned so much from my mom, consciously and subconsciously,” she said. “I was very lucky to have a businesswoman (Kris) helping me become a businesswoman… and older sisters who became businesswomen.”
Another trait Kris instilled in her children is the way they “open their doors” to others.
As for other major influences in her life, Kendall admitted her older sisters – Kim, Kourtney, and Khloe Kardashian – as well as her younger sister Kylie Jenner, have all helped her in more ways than one.
“The best thing about having so many sisters is (that) you always have a friend. And, also, if you ever need advice, there are tonnes of people to call… even if one of them doesn’t answer,” the brunette beauty smiled. “I think I am, specifically, very lucky because not only do I have sisters and a big family, but they all live in this world with me, so they understand the things that I go through and I understand the things they go through.”
