Amal Clooney’s sister Tala Alamuddin Le Tallec is facing criticism for selling designer face masks on her website, Totally Tala

The 47-year-old’s Le Masque collection features denim, camouflage and leopard-print designs in a range of colours.

But some accused her of trying to cash in on the coronavirus pandemic.

A portion of the proceeds will go to the Singapore Red Cross to aid those affected by coronavirus.

Amal’s sister lives in Singapore.

Tala spoke to website, Hello, following the criticism

She said: “Masks are a staple in Asian households, and used regularly for colds, pollution and cosmetic recovery.

“Our masks are NOT N95 certified, and should be considered a physical barrier for sneezing and colds … but they are not medically certified.”
