The Nedbank Cup returns on the weekend beginning on 21 February, with eight fixtures spread out over the following five days.

Only 16 teams remain in the competition after the Round of 32 claimed a couple of big names.

PSL confirms Nedbank Cup venues and kick-off times

The Round of 16 draw took place soon after the first round of fixtures was completed and, on Friday morning, the Premier Soccer League (PSL) confirmed the dates, venues and kick-off times.

The action begins on Friday, 21 February when Black Leopards host ABC Motsepe League outfit Amavarara at Thohoyandou Stadium.

Three afternoon fixtures are scheduled for Saturday, and one that will undoubtedly draw the most eyeballs is the one taking place at Makhulong Stadium, where Highlands Park welcome Kaizer Chiefs after going past first division outfits Uthongathi and Royal Eagles respectively.

The other Saturday afternoon fixtures are low key affairs, involving lower division sides, with Happy Wanderers from the third-tier entertaining Championship outfit TS Sporting at Princess Magogo Stadium, while Mbombela United and Real Kings do battle at Kanyamazane Stadium.

The day’s action concludes with an all top-flight affair involving Bloemfontein Celtic and Maritzburg United at Dr Molemela Stadium.

Sunday sees two more fixtures, with Mamelodi Sundowns hosting Vaal University Technology in what is the round’s biggest mismatch on paper. The minnows have, however, claimed a big scalp in the form of Golden Arrows en route to the Last 16.

Baroka are also in action on the day, and they too square off against a third-tier outfit in Hungry Lions.

The Nedbank Cup Round of 16 concludes on Tuesday with another all-Premiership clash, as Bidvest Wits host Chippa United at Bidvest Stadium.
