An ex-NFL player has been charged with raping a disabled woman who he allegedly interviewed for a babysitting job, according to multiple reports.
Former San Francisco 49ers star Dana Stubblefield is accused of sexually assaulting the woman at his California home last year.
The woman, who was 31 at the time of the alleged incident, is believed to have been contacted by Stubblefied through a babysitter website. The attack allegedly took place at the defensive lineman's property in Morgan Hill, Santa Clara County.
Deputy district attorney Tim McInerny told NBC: "This was a crime of violence against a vulnerable victim. She was looking for a job and she was unconscionably assaulted."
Stubblefield is facing five felony counts in connection to the rape, McInerny told NBC.
The 45-year-old's bail has been set at $250,000.
Stubblefield played 10 seasons in the NFL with the Niners, Washington and Raiders.
