The Moroccan national football team made history in the 2022 World Cup by becoming the first African team to reach the semi-finals of the tournament. In their quarter-final match against Portugal, Morocco played a strong and disciplined game, and were able to secure a 1-0 victory thanks to a goal from forward Youssef En Nesyri.
