Take a closer look at your diet if you are not following a specific eating plan. Does your diet provide you with sufficient energy to meet your daily requirements? Does your diet include foods from all the basic food groups? Remember that your body requires a certain amount of vitamins and mineral substances to function optimally.
You should also try and reduce the amount of junk and processed foods if you tend to consume too much. Keep your diet healthy and enjoy treats occasionally. Always consult a dietitian if you require assistance in putting a meal or snack plan together.
Are you exercising?
It is generally recommended that individuals exercise for approximately 30 to 60 minutes, four to six days a week. This will vary off course, for example, if someone is recovering from surgery, has just given birth or is ill etc.
If you do not prefer going to the gym, look for fun ways to get more physical. Do indoor exercises, play a sport or even jog in your garden. Just stay active!

Sleep sleep sleep
Give your body adequate time to rest. On average, most people require eight hours of sleep daily. A good night's sleep gives our bodies time to rest, grow, repair and heal itself if needed. It can also help you to destress and re-energise yourself for the day that lies ahead of you. So, don't cut yourself short – you will be able to function better when you are well rested.
