R&B crooner Ne-Yo and his former spouse, Crystal Renay, have reached an agreement in their divorce settlement. According to court documents, Ne-Yo will retain possession of three out of their four homes and a Bentley, while also paying his ex-wife a lump sum of $1.6 million to balance out the division of their real estate holdings.
Division of Real Estate and Moving Expenses
Crystal Renay will receive one of the four homes the couple owned in Georgia, as well as $20,000 to cover her moving expenses. Ne-Yo will also pay his ex-wife $150,000 for the purchase of a new car. He will keep their 2022 Bentley Bentayga.
Child Support and Alimony Payments
The "So Sick" singer will also be responsible for paying $12,000 per month in child support for their three children and will cover all school expenses. Additionally, Ne-Yo will pay $5,000 per month in alimony for the next three years.
Joint Custody and Romantic Partners
The former couple has agreed on joint custody of their children, and neither party will have new romantic partners around the minors unless they are married or engaged to that person, or receive approval from each other.
Finalizing the Divorce
Ne-Yo and Crystal Renay's divorce was finalized following Crystal's filing in August of the same year, alleging that Ne-Yo had fathered a child with another woman.
