Big Scarr's Cause of Death Revealed as Accidental Prescription Drug Overdose

The cause of death for rapper Big Scarr has been revealed as an accidental prescription drug overdose, according to a family member.

Big Scarr, whose real name was Demarcus Davis, died at his girlfriend's home in Memphis on December 22, 2021. It is believed that the rapper, who was signed to Gucci Mane's label 1017 Global Music, suffered from chronic pain due to a car accident and a shooting incident that required surgery.

Big Scarr had a successful year in 2021, releasing his debut mixtape "Big Grim Reaper" and working on his debut album. He was also preparing to go on tour with fellow rapper Key Glock in the spring.

Big Scarr's death was confirmed by Gucci Mane and fellow Memphis rapper Big30.
