Popular Musician, David Adedeji Adeleke, popularly known by his stage name Davido who is presently mourning his 3-year-old son, Ifeanyi has been named among the Africans and Americans to be honoured at the Afro Award in Los Angeles, California.
The Founder and Executive Producer of The Afro Awards, Mr Taiwo Oduala confirmed the development, noting that Governor-Elect, Sen. Ademola Jackson-Adeleke, who is Davido's uncle is one of the awardees as well.
He said the awardees are Africans and Americans, who distinguished themselves in various fields of endeavours.
"The main focus of the award is to support people who have demonstrated exceptional humanitarian excellence in various fields, " he said.
