According to a press release from the United States Attorney's Office at the Central District of California, Ramon Abbas aka Hushpuppi, a self-confessed Internet fraudster, is to be sentenced in October 2021.
Hushpuppi and some members of his fraud syndicate were arrested in July 2020 in Dubai in an operation tagged "Fox Hunt 2" after pulling off multimillion dollar fraud.
In a plea bargain document released online last week, Hushpuppi pleaded guilty to charges bordering internet fraud, money laundering, among others.
