Rapper Bow Wow announces career switch to WWE

Rapper Bow Wow has shared his plans to embark on a new career path as a professional wrestler.

The 33-year-old, whose real name is Shad Gregory Moss, tweeted Monday that he plans to focus on joining WWE after releasing his last album.

According to him, WWE wrestling has been his "life long childhood dream".

Voicing his desire to be a wrestler, he also saw that the news might appear a bit crazy but was ready for the next chapter.

Bow wrote: "Now I know this might sound crazy… but after I drop my last album, I will focus on tv and film. And joining the @WWE. It's been a lifelong childhood dream to wrestle in the WWE."

He also floated the idea of teaming up with Rey Mysterio.

However, Bow Wow released his first album, "Beware of Dog," in 2000 at the age of 13.

He's also made numerous television and movie appearances, including a starring role in the 2002 basketball movie "Like Mike."
