Popular Nigerian actress, Chika Ike and her foundation team have started the distribution of foodstuff and palliatives to Lagosians to cushion the impact of the Coronavirus lockdown.
Lagos state has been on lockdown since March 30 due to the spread of Coronavirus and this has affected a lot of economic and social activities causing most people who live on wages finding it extremely hard to survive.
Some celebrities have taken to the streets to help Nigerians cope with the impact of the lockdown by sharing relief materials and Chika Ike is following suit.
The renowned actress, who is also a businesswoman, took to Instagram reveale her act of benevolence.
"With the extension of the Covid-19 lockdown, it has been difficult for most people to feed".
"These past few weeks have been a trying time for everyone. My team and I focused on making donations to some motherless babies and less privileged homes.
"But we decided to hit the streets this week. Thanks to @jccproperties for supporting this cause .
"Please stay home and stay safe so we can flatten the curve. #stayhome #staysafe #socialdistancingstreet," she posted.
According to the Nollywood Actress, they will still donate to motherless babies and less privileged homes.
